Flown: Arrow Escape Puzzle by Gridlark Game Developers (SMC-Private) Limited (Android package com.ameerhamzakamboh.flown) · Last updated 11 October 2026
Summary
Flown has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or contacts. Your progress, coins and settings are stored only on your device. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, sells optional in-app purchases through Google Play, and, if you allow it, sends anonymous play statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase so the levels, tools and target times can be made fair.
Information stored on your device
Level progress, saved boards, best times, streaks, coin balance, the hints, Aim and Undo you hold, purchases you have made, your reminder time and your sound, music, haptics and display settings. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads: a full-screen ad between levels from level 9 on, at most after every third win, and videos you choose to watch for a reward. There are no banner ads. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud, and, where you allow it, to personalise ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Buying Remove ads, the Pro Pack or the Starter bundle stops the ads between levels; videos for rewards stay available if you want them. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Optional coin packs, tool packs, perks, look bundles, Remove ads, the Pro Pack and a one-time Starter bundle are processed entirely by Google Play. The app never sees your payment details; it only receives confirmation that a purchase was made, and stores what you bought on your device.
Anonymous play statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
What is sent. The app sends a few events to Google Analytics for Firebase about the puzzles you play: when a board starts (whether it is a Journey level, a Daily Puzzle or an archived Daily, the level number or the date of the Daily, how many darts the board has and which attempt it is), when you use a tool (Hint, Aim, Undo, a heart refill or a skip ticket: which one, and how many darts were left), when you run out of hearts (what you chose: a free or paid extra heart, a video, starting again or leaving, and how many darts were left), and when you finish a board (the kind of puzzle and its level number or date, the board's size and difficulty, how long it took and the target time, how many tools were used, and whether it was your first clear). No name, email, account, contact, precise location or free text is ever sent. Firebase also records what it collects for every app by default: an app-instance identifier generated for this install, the app version, device model, operating system version, language, country derived from the IP address, and when the app was opened. The advertising ID is not collected for analytics, Android ID collection is switched off, and analytics data is never used for advertising or ad personalisation.
Why. To see where real players get stuck and how long each kind of board takes, so the levels, tools and target times can be made fair.
Consent. Collection is off until the app has asked for consent where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland). If you decline there, nothing is sent unless you switch it on yourself.
How to opt out. Open Settings → Privacy and turn off Share anonymous play stats. Nothing more is sent from that moment. Firebase keeps analytics events for at most 14 months, after which they are deleted. Uninstalling the app removes its identifier from your device. See Firebase privacy and security.
Remote settings
The app does not download remote settings; everything it uses is built into the app.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules it on your device with Android's own notification system. No server is involved and nothing is sent anywhere. You can turn reminders off in Settings at any time.
Sharing results
When you share a result, the app hands the text or picture to your device's share sheet. The app itself sends nothing; what happens next is up to the app you choose.
Crash reports
The app does not include a crash-reporting service.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
